Join us for an exciting, hands-on Culinary Camp designed to give students real-world kitchen experience while building essential cooking and hospitality skills.
This immersive camp is limited to 25 students, ensuring personalized instruction and meaningful participation for each attendee.
Schedule
Culinary Camp will begin with orientation at 5:00 PM on Monday, June 22, with supper provided.
Training will commence at 8:00 AM on June 23 and continue through June 26.
Each day will conclude with a joint service at 7:00 PM, creating a time of fellowship and encouragement alongside the hands-on training.
Cost
The total cost for the camp is $140 per student, which includes all food, materials, and supplies needed throughout the week.
Please note: housing is not included.
What You’ll Learn
Students will gain valuable experience in both the kitchen and front-of-house service, including:
Basic cooking techniques
Knife skills and safe food preparation
Preparing and understanding mother and bay sauces
Garnishing and food presentation
Meal planning and purchasing
Large-scale food production (helping prepare up to 300 meals per day)
Front-of-house skills such as decorating and table setting
