Director: Anchor Baptist Missions International

Dr. WhittemoreIt is an honor and privilege for ABMI to have Dr. E. Duain Whittemore as our director. Dr. Whittemore adds decades of ministry and mission work to Anchor. He and his wife travel across the nation preaching revivals, missions meetings, and special services both strengthening the local church and representing the needs of missions around the globe. He has travelled extensively in other countries preaching in cities, towns, villages, islands, and any other place where the gospel message is to be heard: the uttermost part of the earth!

Please pray for Dr. Whittemore as he continues to serve God with us here at ABMI and around the world as well.

Dr. Whittemore started in the ministry in 1967 and went to Bible College at Tabernacle Baptist Bible College in Greenville, SC. After college, he pastored Calvary Baptist Church in Travellers Rest, SC for three years. Then he continued his ministry for the next 13 years at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Greenville, SC as the associate to the Pastor (Dr. Harold B. Sightler) and as Director of the Children's Home. After his years in Greenville, he went to Pastor at the 49th Street Baptist Church in Anniston, AL for 7 years. Then Dr. Whittemore went to Mission Texas and continued his ministry as Director of Shining Light Ministries.

In November of  2001, Dr. Randy Barton asked Dr. Whittemore to take over ABMI as Director and he has been here ever since.
