Disaster Response

Immediate Life Sustaining Needs

Disaster (5).jpg
When a major disaster strikes, most of the livelihood goods are either destroyed or made unusable. Following a disaster, everything is a gamble. If a hurricane strikes and the water systems are affected, then there is an immediate need for water. ABMI is constantly seeking sources for emergency bottled water when the need arises. Then after bottled water, the need for food sources always grows. Without the use of the kitchens and electrical systems, food preparation becomes nearly impossible. After the immediate response of water, the next need is Meal Care Boxes.

Then, when available, any emergency medical supplies are shipped along with the water and food. Items such as band-aids, wound cleaning agents, and over the counter medications are always needed.

All of our Disaster Operations are based out of our Mission Warehouse.

In this Phase, Transportation Crews are used in the shipping of the materials.  This would be a man power crew that would be interested in the loading of trucks and transporting relief supplies to the disaster area.  Truck size could range from pick-ups to semis, depending upon the need, and will supply emergency relief without regard to an individual's financial standing on a temporary basis.
